Mass offered daily for deceased members, deceased spouses of members, and deceased Columbian Squires at
St. Mary's Church
in New Haven, Connecticut.
Widow Benefits.
Widows of members in good standing at the time of their death continue to be covered under the Member & Spouse Fraternal Benefit, may purchase life and long-term care insurance and annuities for up to one year after an insured member's death, receive a free lifetime subscription to Columbia, and remain eligible with her children for the Order's scholarship programs.
Scholarships & Fellowships.
Six different college scholarship programs for members and their families, two different graduate fellowship programs, and scholarship programs for seminarians at the national level; as well as five different state scholarship programs.
Matthews and Swift Educational Trust Fund.
Provides full scholarships including room and board to Catholic colleges for children of a member killed or permanently and totally disabled from military service in armed conflict, or from criminal violence directed against the officer while on duty as a police officer or fireman.
Leadership Development.
Opportunity to build personal leadership skills through involvement in the Order's unique structure, supported by
Knightline
& the
Program Supplement,
fraternal newsletters mailed to state and local officers and chairmen.
Fourth Degree.
Eligibility of Third Degree members to join the Patriotic Degree, one year after initiation into the Order.
Honorary Life Membership at Age 70.
After 25 years of continuous service, a member merits this distinction and no longer is charged dues.
Catholic Information Service.
Opportunity for the member and his family to avail themselves of a variety of literature on Catholic faith and spirituality.
Catholic Home Study Service.
Supported by the Missouri State Council, Vincentian Father Oscak Lukefahr offers a number of correspondence courses to deepen the Catholic faith of members and families.

Entitled participation in all Catholic, fraternal and social activities in the member's Council and in over 13,000 Councils throughout the world.

Participate in annual council, state, and international golf, bowling, and softball tournaments.

Insurance benefits
Insurance Program.
Offers member, spouse, and children the opportunity to provide for their security and well-being. Rater AAA Superior by Standard & Poor's and A++ Superior by A.M. Best.
Annuity Program.
Enables member and spouse to provide for retirement and build an estate through tax-deferred savings.
Long Term Care Insurance.
Enables members and their spouses to safeguard their assets and afford the care and assistance needed later in life.
Member & Spouse Fraternal Benefit.
Automatic enrollment in free accidental death coverage of up to $2500 for member and spouse.
Spousal Waiver.
When both husband and wife are covered by a Knights of Columbus life insurance certificate, and one partner dies, the other partner's insurance will be continued free of premium.
Orphan Benefit.
$80 monthly allotment for orphans of famililes covered by a Knights of Columbus life insurance certificate, where at least one parent was covered by a Knights of Columbus insurance certificate with an annual premium of $150 or more than $5,000 of coverage, with up to $7,000 in college scholarships available.
Family Fraternal Benefit.
Pays $1,500 for a child who dies before the age of 61 days, pays $750 for a child who is stillborn at least 20 weeks after conception, and offers guaranteed-issue insurance up to $5,000 to any child under age 18, provided that the parent and all prior children are covered by Knights of Columbus life insurance.
New Member Plan.
A low-cost whole life policy to new members and their spouses upon joining the Order.
