The Council is engaged in a number of events to help the community, but also maintains its hall for the benefit of its members. Various fundraisers supply the funds for our charitable works as well as the utilities and upkeep of our building.

For several years, the Council has held a spring

on the Normandie Golf Club course. A full day event beginning with a four man scramble and ending with a BBQ pork steak dinner, a portion of the funds raised support four $200

In addition, the tournament supports Council's participation in the
RSVP
program, in which the Council selects a seminarian for financial and moral support. The 2008 tournament is scheduled for July 12 at the Normandie Golf Course. Additional help is needed. Please contact the Director if you are interested in playing or are a member volunteering to work.

Again this year, the Council sold $20 Baseball Mania tickets. The Council sold enough chances to have a winner every week during the contest. Similar to the Football Mania tickets we sold last fall, there is a web site which tracks the results. The fun lasts all season long. Contact the chairman if you are interested in buying or selling tickets on our behalf.
