The Bishop Wurm Council is located across from City Hall in Overland on 9200 Lackland Road at Goodale. The Grand Knight for 2007 - 2009 is Joe Poelker. You can contact the Knights by phone at (314) 429-2900, or by email at kofc1376@yahoo.com.
Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, at 7:30 pm at the Council Hall, 9200 Lackland. Recitation of the Rosary precedes each meeting, beginning at 7:10 pm.
Bishop Wurm Council, previously known as Clayton Harty - University City Council, was
chartered on February 21, 1909,
and is named for
the Most Rev. John N. Wurm,
Bishop of Belleville, Illinois,
originally from the Overland area. The Bishop Wurm Council works closely with the parishes of
All Souls,
St. Rita,
and
Christ the King,
in Overland, Vinita Park, and University City, providing funds for various projects, and with members being active participants in their parish.
